Beware of: trail conditions

Tried this finally as a quick break on the way home from Leavenworth. It is literally JUST off the freeway so it makes a lovely stopping point to stretch your legs as well as the legs of your furry friend or child. We saw so my kids hiking this! All in rain boots at the entire trail is mud and or standing/running water. At times you are hiking directly up a stream because there is so much runoff. No snow though as the previous report noted there was I thought an update was in order. The trail is very short, it’s about the same feel as climbing up half of rattlesnake ledge for comparison (who HASN’T hiked that). The views from the top were lovely but a clear day would make them spectacular. Bring waterproof shoes or commit to having soaked ones!
