Beautiful, short, snow-free, clear winter hike today! It took our group of 7 a little under an hour each way and we spent a while appreciating the gorgeous mountain and waterfall views at the end of the trail.
The trail was a bit muddy in a few places but clear of snow. The incline is very moderate - great for beginners. There is an little stream to cross right at the beginning but a plank has been set up that makes it a breeze. There’s also a small log to climb under or over right after the stream. The parking lot is right off the main road, so it’s easy to get to, and no pass is needed. There are no bathrooms at the trailhead, but just across the road/bridge there is a park with bathrooms.
This sweet little hike was a perfect way to welcome the new year!
