The WTA leadership team took some time on Monday to get out and enjoy the sunshine. It was a great day to check out all of the amazing rock work WTA volunteers put into the trail over the past year plus. The trail was dry and in good shape. Thanks to all the WTA supporters, donors and volunteers who made this work possible.
The hike is a nice addition to the trail attractions along 90. The trail gains enough in the first mile to feel like you are getting a workout and there are some nice view points along the way. We were excited to see the signage pointing the way to the peak as well as the Ira Spring connector trail (wish we had more time that would make a great two car adventure).
On the way back down we packed out the trap that had been mentioned in earlier reports.
