A beautiful day for Goat Lake. Arrived at the parking lot just after 9:45 and was on the trail by 10am.
Lots of little wildflowers and also a few waterfalls to keep you occupied along the trail. I took the upper elliot trail on the way up and the lower on the way down. The upper trail is easier while the lower trail is more up and down but along the river so it's worth it.
Pushed a little further along the lake once arriving and had nice rock to sit at and eat lunch with a beautiful waterfall to my back so it was definitely worth the extra push.
Arrived there just after 12:30 and, after lunch, made my way down. Arrived back to my truck just after 3pm. Ended up with a total of 11.5 miles by the end of the day.
