FYI - from the Gifford Pinchot National Forest:

Beginning Aug. 1 the trail to Panther Creek Falls will be closed for about 2 weeks.  Our trail crew will be doing some necessary work to provide visitors with a safer experience. The crew will be constructing a new trail to walk down below the falls as well as improving support for the viewing platform.

I believe that the Forest Service is doing the trailwork or perhaps a local Youth Conservation Corps

Yes, thank you so much for your work! I went to the falls last year and was sad to only see them from above. I can't wait to visit again!
