Palisades Lakes — Saturday, Oct. 8, 2022

Beautiful day for this hike, with plenty of fall color. Arrived at trailhead around 8 AM and it was about 25 percent full, but didn’t see anyone until the upper palisades camp and saw maybe 10 groups on the way back. Took the side trail to Hidden Lake, which was totally worth it but added a bit over a mile. Most of the uphill is on the return, which made for an energetic end to the hike. Great trail!
