Beautiful day on Mt Si! Arrive in the Little Si parking lot just after 8:15am with the lot about 3/4 full. When we left around 12, the lot was full with cars waiting.
The old trail up was perfect and a nice breeze kept us from overheating. At the very top of Mt Si, there was a good pack of ice/snow. Many hikers had microspikes or crampons and poles. As we just had our trail shoes, we scrambled on the rocks but could not go further around the back side as there was a good amount of packed and slick snow on the trail. We only saw folks with microspikes and poles heading further.
It was a beautiful day and we spent at least 40 minutes enjoying the sun and view!
