Port Gamble Forest - Forbidden Forest Trail Loop — Friday, Mar. 24, 2023

This is not so much a trip report as perhaps a gentle warning.  The description given for this "loop" might be confusing, especially where it says you go from E.T. to Forbidden Forest.  I hike there frequently and I highly recommend carrying a map and compass even if the trails are (mostly) well-marked. It is a fun place to hike.  It is mainly used and maintained by bicyclists.  All but one or two of the bike people I have seen on the trail were courteous. Just step out of the way if you hear them coming, smile and say hello. FYI,  a few trails are clearly marked for bicycles only.
