Troublesome Creek Camp Ground
Troublesome Creek is in the MT. Baker Snoqualmie national forest. Take Highway 2 to Index, turn left on the Index road and continue 11 miles to the Troublesome Creek campground. When you enter the campground turn right and continue to the turn a round where camp sites 10,11,12,13,and 14 are located. These are individual campsites that are together along the creek each has a table and fire pit Campsites are $14.00 each a night. There is a nice nature walk at the other end of the campground that is suitable for small children with adult supervision. Trouble Creek is very swift and caution should taken. This campsite is 47 miles from Seattle and takes about 1 1/2 hours to get to. It’s popular on the weekends reservations are advised (1-877-444-6777). There is no electricity, no running water, water is pumped by hand from a well and there are pit toilets. The major attractions are the creek and the old growth trees that are on the nature walk.
