I seriously got tears in my eyes and a big knot in my throat when I just read the trail report for the Big Creek Trail. We hiked it on Oct 28 AND Dec 1 - in the big snow storm the day before the flood. Maybe we were the last ones to walk on the trail in the 100% mint conditions WTA put it in - and now its unhikeable. I bet even the troll is lost. I'm sure the many people who worked on this trail are sad. Darn - Can old ladies work on trail crews? We'll leave the dog home.
