We had great weather for this hike, drizzle as we left Seattle, a downpour in the convergence zone around Everett, and sunny skies around Mount Vernon. The Little Mountain trail system (mostly multi-use) is well maintained but lacks a printed map system which can be of use for your first visit. We walked up to the view point via the Rooty and Huff and Puff trails and then down via the Bonnie and Clyde and Rooty trails. The loop was about 4.5 miles in total with moderate steepness. The views from the Top are quite nice with Puget Sound, the Skagit River, and Mount Vernon plus flower fields from both view points. This is a great hike in the rainy season and a nice drive from the Seattle area.

A bit of a gray day, but the views were still great! Can see all of both Mt Vernon as well as Burlington from the top.

Had a couple free hours to do a little hiking so checked this place out. Nice trails, easy to follow and very well marked. Good place to go if you need a little hike close by.

This was a fun hike! Gps took us down the wrong road, but locals helped out! We got there at 730 and we took a few different trails as this has plenty to choose from. Went to both look outs and it was amazing views. We had breakfast at the park, enjoyed the quiet and continued on our hiking adventures. Some of the trails aren't marked and there are plenty of side trails which add a little extra if you feel adventurous. Spent a couple hours hiking around and is definitely a hike to go back to. Loved the trail names as well.
