Always moving, these chipmunks are difficult to photograph. This one stayed on and around the big rock where hikers often stop for lunch, eating the morsels of food left by humans.

This goat kid (and mom) visited our camp at Snow lakes in the Enchantments and posed for a picture.

These trees would have been cool without the ferns, but that just made it way more interesting!

Found this fungus along the Boulder River trail. I didn't know what it was named at first, so I had to look it up. Either way, it's some pretty awesome fungus!
