Sunset at camp lake.
It was our second time to Robin Lakes and this time we got extra lucky with one of the most beautiful sunsets we've ever seen.

After running an errand on the peninsula this past Saturday my husband and I were able to hit up Hurricane Ridge for a quick snowshoe. That place seriously never disappoints. There's something amazing about watching the fog roll over trees with freshly fallen snow and beautiful distant peaks. Shortly after we witnessed this view the mist enveloped us and it began to snow.

Enjoying the sunset atop Turtleback Mountain on Orcas Island. Waldron Island is the nearest visible land mass with the Gulf Islands and Victoria BC filling in the background.
With a nearly full moon in the background, Adams casts a nice shadow from 11,000'
