Following a large snowstorm, the trees illuminated our path while we forged footings in the fresh powder towards Lake Kelcema.

First ski since moving to Washington. Beautiful snow—light and fluffy!

As always, this is a great conditioning trail for harder hikes.

8-21-8-23 I climbed from 3,300 ft to 8,800 ft did not summit do to the weather on 8-21 12 hours straight hard rain

I love looking up when I'm hiking. This photo is an example of what you can see. The moss was so lush and I am once again amazed by nature.
