We hiked the skyline trail in our first few days of moving to WA state from GA. It was beautiful but oh man, was it crowded! Also, the elevation gain itself wasn't bad, but the thin air towards the top was unlike what I'd ever experienced. Still, 10/10 would do it again!

The morning of the return to the trailhead (9 miles).

Following a large snowstorm, the trees illuminated our path while we forged footings in the fresh powder towards Lake Kelcema.

I love looking up when I'm hiking. This photo is an example of what you can see. The moss was so lush and I am once again amazed by nature.
