Sometimes the smaller streams are more spectacular than the raging rivers. The spirit is in the details. I particularly liked the quiet immovable quality of the rock amidst the constant changing flow of the water.
Encountered these beautiful Ponderosa Pines while snowshoeing off Chiwawa Loop Road.
The snow had melted out and left this heart up near the top of Glacier Peak. I took the picture from Mt. Forgotten.
We were watching the sunset at Semiahmoo Park when a group of gulls suddenly began flying away . We looked up to see the hungry eagle.
We watched the eagle for several minutes while he unsuccessfully dived at the gulls for a meal!
