We hiked up an unmarked and closed logging road in the upper Tumwater Canyon off of Highway 2 and discovered a beautiful stand of lewisiaa in bloom. This flower is found only in selected small areas in the Wenatchee National Forest. What a find!
As we were hiking along a closed and unmarked logging road in the upper Tumwater Canyon off of Highway 2, we encountered this fabulous stand of lupine and balsam root flowers. My heart was gladdened by their colors.
