Hiked Maple Pass Loop in mid-October 2017. Late in the season, might have been one of the last people to make it over the pass last year. The larch were just finishing their peak. Amazing hike!

Nice calm slight breeze on our hike at Hanford reach. Beautiful views with wildflowers blooming everywhere! We saw two coyotes and a family of rock chucks, great hike!

Mailbox and Mountain

It was quite cloudy atop Mailbox Peak. I waited over an hour at the summit hoping the clouds would break. They never broke the way I hoped, but I was able to get this glimpse of Mount Rainier.

Aurea & Hazel's first hike

Hazel is a senior pitmix from a high-kill shelter in Houston, TX. We somehow found each other and now I get to show Hazel all the pacific northwest has to offer. This is our first hike together, Mt Washington. I wasn't sure she could make it but she ended up being the one motivating me to get to the top!
