The trail description of this hike is very accurate - almost anyone can do this trail. It has a nice grade and its not too steep except there is a little bit of a steep part if you want to go down to the lake (but totally doable). There are no obstacles on the trail and it is very easy to follow. There was some haze on Saturday but it was not too smoky. Great fall foliage on this hike!

Great hike today. We hiked with our dogs to the campground/creek before turning around. Parking lot was full at 12pm when we arrived but we were able to get a spot with only a small wait. Trail was busy on the way to the lake but on the way back at around 3pm it had thinned out substantially.

Trailhead busy but not full at 11 AM. Trail itself in good condition throughout. Lots of well-behaved dogs and mustached humans.

Parking lot was mostly full when we arrived at 11am-ish on a Saturday.  Trail in good condition.  Lots of other hikers on the trail and campers at the lake - we had to look for a bit to find a spot.  No bugs.  The water was really low.  Beautiful hike.  4 children in our group - youngest is 5 - they all did great.  

Good easy hike. Parking lot was almost full at 10am. We saw a grouse. Walked by many nice people. Extremely busy at the lake struggled to find a place near the lake for lunch without walking thru someone's camp. Surprised how low the lake is but I guess is normal for this time of the year. Easy walk down. Great day hike.
