There are many cross-crossing trails here, all in good condition. There is a stream that runs along the trail. You can also walk on a bridge that goes over the ravine.
There is more than trails here. It is part of a large park that has much to offer those that want to make more of their day.
By the way, Ravenna is the Italian word for ravine.

Ravenna park is so close, yet in the wrong direction for me. I am blown away each time that I go there, at how spacious and how tranquil it is. I need there to go more often.
I had an extra hour getting to work today so I chose to pursue one of Puget Sound’s ice age erratics. If you don’t know, erratics are rocks broken off from somewhere else and brought here by the glaciers, only to be left behind.
The air was cool, early morning light filtering down through the trees, Ravenna Creek bubbling on by. A beautiful little divergence on my way to work.

Nice evening walk at Cowen park. Observed a family of peaceful owls. Some folks in tents around the park just off trails. I don't go to this park often because it sometimes has too many people for my preference. There were certainly people on bicycles, runners, and walkers today around 7 pm, but mostly on the main trail, and not anything like it gets on the weekends. My children always love the little bridges and obstacles that cross the water.
