Arrived by 10 am after a long drive from Seattle. Just a few cars by the trailhead. Hiked up to Hardy Falls viewpoint and the Upper Rodney Falls. Be sure to stop by the Pool of the Winds. Continue to go up the switch backs. Nice rocks formations with good view of the Gorge. Went to the summit with no one around, so I practiced some Tai Chi up there! A couple from Portland came up later. We walked down to the Saddle and the Equestrian Trail together. We used the Hardy Creek Trail to return back to the parking. A pleasant day trip. Just a few people on the trail today. Some nice wildflowers as the other reporter has mentioned.

Rain and some hail, trail was very muddy at spots but still a beautiful hike even without the weather cooperating. Highly recommend but be prepared to work for the view.

I joined WTA for a work party on the Hamilton Mountain trail yesterday. Two teams worked to repair some pretty badly washed out sections of trail, which is snow-free up to the waterfalls. Plenty of snow still visible higher up although I did not venture beyond our work sites. We had lots of fun on a beautiful day!

Arrived at the parking lot at about 9am and it wasn’t full, but there was limited parking. There is a public restroom there, just an fyi.
The trail was in good condition although pretty muddy in a few spots but it was well maintained. It was a very cold and windy day so we didn’t hike all the way to the summit, but we did go the little mountain for the open view of the Columbia Gorge — which is beautiful, even on a cloudy/foggy day. We hiked about 5.06 miles, 2hrs and 20mins.

We tagged along on a trail scouting mission at Hamilton Mountain (for future trail maintenance). We arrived a little before 8am to a few cars in the parking lot. We headed up the trail in chilly but dry weather. We checked out various trail issues, took in the scenery and learned a thing or two.

We lucked out on the weather, with light rain beginning just as we were heading back.  There were many people heading up the trail as we came down, and the lot was full when reached the parking lot a bit before noon.
