Hike was good.
We reach by 9.15Am and as usual all the parking was full, Luckly after 2 rounds we found one spot in overflow parking (thanks to those guys who come early for hiking).
During the hike there were burst in elevation in few places which was good to charge you up. I went with my 9-year-old daughter and 2 friends and she was almost running and acting as a guide to us.
In between places like wood rock climbing is a good way to extend your hike or even see the ppl making efforts to win the rock.
The trail was rocky and slippery in some places (depending upon how much rain happen a day earlier).
The top has a good view of North Bend and if you go a little ahead you will find a good rock to sit and enjoy the view.
On our way down, rain started so we were in a hurry to reach trailhead but saw many ppl started to hike in rain (brave ppl).

Got to the trailhead about 7am on memorial day to hopefully beat any crowds (success!). it was a cloudy day but we didn't get rained on. had a decent view of North Bend below but cloud cover kept us from having a great view. My kids made it up and down without major complaints. Parking lot was full by the time we were back to the car around 9am

I was a bit worried about hiking on Memorial Day and the potential crowds but decided to get up early and hope for the best. This is a hike I do quite often--almost like a high school running track for conditioning. Little Si parking lot was about 80% full at 7:30 AM. The day started off rainy during the drive, and cloudy and misty during the hike. Didn't see as many people as I thought on the way up, which is often the case with this trail (other destinations/rock climbing). Saw only about four people on the ascent. Had a good meditative session on the side of the summit looking across to Mt Si. Spent about 20 minutes on the top. On the way out, saw probably close to 40 people. Got back to the trailhead at 9:30. Big rollover accident on I-90 on the way home near Preston. Was caught in traffic for about 1/2 hour. Miles: 5; wildlife: Douglas Squirrel.

It was my fault, I agreed to a Sunday hike on Little Si on a sunny day - what was I thinking!? It was bursting with people, the lots were overflowing and the TP was out in the loo at 9 am. All the signs were there but my friend picked a hike that fit his physical needs right now and this was it. Less than 5 people yielded to climbers, even when those climbers were visibly tired, struggling, and/or had children or dogs with them. Personal space was a figment of your imagination, like Costco just before a holiday.
The trail itself was as expected. Clear and easily navigated; a bit of mud in spots but nothing too bad. The only real nuisance was the bugs, even with bug spray, I know I came away with a few bites.
