Lots of potholes at entrance/exit to parking lot but passable if you go slowly. I saw plenty of sedan cars in lot. One muddy patch with water over trail early on but overall trail was in great condition. Cold and breezy as you approached the top; needed most of my layers. Sadly there were egg shells and orange rinds around the benches at 1 mile.

Hiked on Saturday April 13, arrived at the parking lot at 7:10am with around 20 cars present. The pit toilets are open!! Trail is in great shape, just a bit muddy. The last 200ft or so were pretty icy prior to breaking out of the trees. It was genuinely slippery, but we were able to slow down enough it wasn’t a problem. I’m guessing this will dissipate in the next few weeks.

Had a great time, about 5 hours round trip with lots of breaks. Was pleasantly surprised that the trail wasn’t any busier in a pretty Sunday morning.

Parking lot has a lot of potholes - not an issue for my little Mazda, but cars that ride very low would struggle. Trail was in good condition. At times muddy, but no real issues. There was increasing snow as we trekked to the top, but it was never more than an inch or two deep. Some lowland wildflowers blooming (salmonberry, viola).

We started at the Mount Si trailhead and worked our way over to Teneriffe Falls. The falls are, unsurprisingly, raging this time of year.

I noticed a lot of unfamiliar social trails, mostly from impatient hikers cutting the switchbacks. Please try not to do this, though I understand it may not always be easy at this point to tell where the designated trail is.

Keep in mind that, as you ascend the Teneriffe Falls trail, you will encounter an impressive set of falls. Keep going up! The actual Teneriffe Falls are still another few minutes further uphill.

(Both people I was hiking with today told me they would have turned around at the first falls had I not informed them the real destination was still ahead. We saw another person on the trail who, I have strong reason to believe, saw those first falls and turned around.)
