The road into the trailhead is rough. Large pot holes and clusters of smaller deep potholes for most of the distance between ranger hole TH and duckabush trailhead. When the road starts to climb there are less potholes but was quite a bit of water over the road from the rain. The trail itself was in good condition. We brought trash bags for an earth day clean up during our hike and found plenty of toilet paper (TP) all along the trail to clean up. A good reminder to please pack out or burry your TP. The falls was amazing. Instant gratification since it was such a quick hike in. We got rained on the whole hike but the falls was worth braving the weather. The trail back had some standing water from the rain we encountered on our hike but nothing that slowed us down.

The road out to the trail was the hardest part...once the pavement ends, there are quite a few potholes of various sizes. I went out in a FWD car and made it just fine though. The trail was in great shape, a couple small downed trees, a couple of muddy spots but easy to get around. It was raining the entire time I was out and I noticed a few more puddles on my way back. The falls are incredibly beautiful right now with all the extra rainwater and the hike is very quick and easy. I paired it with another hike in the area to make a day out of it.
