Beautiful and totally underrated trail! Beat the rain today, but there were definitely leftovers from it that made some of the side trails down to the falls a bit hairy. Road is fine, trail is in great condition. Only thing is there are like three tiny trees across the trail you have to step over or under, but nothing that will make you break a sweat. Easy hike with a phenomenal pay off. Killer views of Mount Jupiter through the trees.

Part of the FR up to the trailhead is riddled with potholes. Account for the drive taking a bit more time because of this! Road and trail are both snow and ice free. Good hike with kids...big pay off at the end for just a little bit of work!

Sunny in Brinnon, raining at the trailhead and snowing at the falls. It was a beautiful hike. The roads were clear, but beware of the potholes....

Road up pretty good, watch for potholes some may eat your small car. The snow and ice on road made it easier because the potholes were frozen. Trail wet but not muddy. Snow started falling while we were up there made it even prettier. Roots and rocks are slick! But still managed to climb down to the riverside. Good overall family hike.
