Arrived around 3pm on Friday after Thanksgiving and were the 2nd car in the lot. Road has plenty of potholes but was passable in our honda fit.
The sign at the trailhead says that the trail is 0.8mi and 1,000ft of elevation gain but that's definitely wrong. Round trip, my GPS watch said 1.6 mi and 380 ft of elevation.
Easy, well maintained trail and the water fall was gorgeous.
What an awesome hike for families! Short hike from the trailhead to the falls. Elevation change of about 250 feet over about .8 miles. Be careful at the upper falls viewing trail as there is a nest of Yellow jackets in the 2nd step near the top on the left side in a whole near a root. We disturbed them just walking by and my son got stung. Well worth the trip even with the yellow jackets.
