Beautiful hike with my little son who is 7. Enjoyed the birds and the wildflowers. Jaden loved eating the berries on the entire hike! Enjoyed reading all the informational signs throughout the hike. Highly recommend this for families

Sunday morning adventure to this wildlife-abundant spot on the Puget Sound. Sure there were birds all over the place - but it was also Snake Season. We saw many of them warming themselves on the sides of the trail. Pretty cool! Nice trail in general - with plenty of places to stop, sit and take in the wildlife. And a really interesting set of barns, complete with historical reference all the way back to the 1840's. Didn't quite make it all the way out on the boardwalk over the water, but looking forward to heading back for part 2! Happy hiking!

Arrived around 8:30 when the parking lot was still pretty empty. Walked the 5 miles round trip while watching what looked like eagles fly. If you looked down you were also able to see some crabs (the tide was really low). Also got to see an otter swimming. Fun walk to do if you're in the area or have kids. I enjoyed the walk and would love to go again.
