easy family hike that I love to do when I get the time. Went late in the afternoon so there was a low tide but beautiful views all around. The old barn is always such a beautiful sight and great for photos.

Overcast morning but pleasant. The tide was out. We walked the 2 miles out to the lookout and back (4 miles total). It was pretty quiet when we arrived about 10am but by the time we left it was getting pretty active with families out enjoying the weekend. The exciting and unexpected event was the snake siting! It must be mating season. Wildflowers are out as well. Always a beautiful walk.

Great place to learn about wildlife. Water creatures birds and water fowl. We were there at low tide. Also we experienced a diverse weather system, sunny, then cloudy and windy, then rain. All made for a really fun day in the NW.

Beautiful hike. The views were varied and magnetic. Easy - most of it was boardwalk. Many purple wild flowers of couple of different types. Many birds - ducks and geese, swallows, sparrows, seagulls, robin, etc. Saw also rabbits, a beaver like creature and a turtle.
