Tide was out today and we were treated with quite a few eagle sightings along the boardwalk trail.  This is a great area with flat trails on gravel or boardwalks.  We enjoyed lunch at nearby Nisqually Bar & Grill.

Third short hike of the day.
Lots of birds singing and frogs too. There’s no denying it, spring has sprung!

We got there at about 1230, and the lot was decently full. Paid our 3$ and set out.

There were a lot of harbor seals splashing around, and saw 3 blue herons and a coyote.

It took us an hour and a half to go about 4.3 miles.

What a beautiful day! I didn't realize you could see Mt Rainier from this trail in the past, haha.

Lots of people out birdwatching and enjoying the sun. It was just over 4 miles to go out to the end of the boardwalk and back. The entire way is flat and either boardwalked or wide gravel.

The long, wide boardwalk over the estuary with views in all directions is really quite incredible!

Not a lot of wildlife except for a few small birds, and one Great Blue Heron.

Still a nice saunter.
