Trail in good condition. Some slightly irregular stone stairs, some roots, and slightly steep portions but retaining footing not tremendously difficult. It should be obvious but this trail gains (relatively speaking) lot of elevation in a short time; may be unsuitable for your elderly aunt with a heart condition, for instance. Weather was warm and sunny, lots of nice greenery, some wild huckleberries (and the ubiquitous blackberries).

Trail was well maintained and free of debris. A tree did fall during our hike- thankfully nobody was injured and it is not blocking any portion of the trail.

We started around 11:30, it was a misty, foggy day- but the weather made for a cool climb on our way up.

The trail is good, but a butt kicker if you are not in hiking shape. The trail contains steep inclines a majority of the way up. In many places there is enough room to let hikers pass, but there are a few areas where single file is best.

The trail was free of debris and we had no issues parking in the lot. No paragliders when we went, as the weather was not favorable. There were port o pottys at the parking lot entrance, but none at the top.

A tree fell while we were hiking but thankfully nobody was hurt, and it did not fall on any portion of the trail. It fell off trail in a wooded area.

Overall a really great hike. No top views for us due to the fog, but it was still a great hike.

Drizzling at the top, along with fog beneath the peak. Beautiful fall hike.

It was a cloudy, cool, and dry day. Perfect for a fairly steep hike. The trail is in good shape, but there’s some good elevation gained so don’t be in a hurry.
A paraglider came in for a landing as I was starting towards the trail head. It’s a lovely forest you walk through for the bulk of the hike on the way to the launch points for the folks that fly off the mountain. The view from the second launch point is excellent, and the skies weren’t perfectly clear when I was there.
