Very well maintained trail. Lots of people including young children and pets on leashes. The trail had hikers across the full spectrum; Some people in casual clothes and shoes and others in full gear with large backpacks. My partner and I took our sweet time on the trail and still managed to get to the top within about 1.5 hours. The climb up may be a bit difficult at times but the reward at the top was well worth it.

The ground was frozen with frost visible along the path until we reached an elevation of around 800'. While I packed my poles and microspikes, they weren't necessary. The path was muddy in some spots, but it didn't affect our hike. Long before we reached the summit, we had shed all of our layers. It was a gorgeous day for a hike, cool and clear.

Perfect day on the trail rewarded with sunshine at the top. About 3 areas to maneuver around, but otherwise, the trail is clear. At the entrance of the parking lot, there is a nice flowing stream as well as a smaller one halfway up.

Arrived around 8am and there were already a number of cars in the parking lot. Trail itself was pretty rocky and definitely a climb. It started to snow once I reached the summit which was exciting. I saw a number of people use hiking poles and that seemed like a smart idea - I definitely struggled.

Trail was well maintained and not too difficult. There was a downed tree halfway up the trail though.
