We recently moved to Spokane, and went out to scout out the trail right as the park opened at 6:30. We explored a little of trail 25, and the picnic areas near the campground. Everything is well maintained and clearly marked. The water and geography were truly something to behold.
Due to the burn ban the grills in the picnic area are covered up and inaccessible.
Very busy trail today, but once you get a bit away from the bridge it gets less traveled. We turned right after we crossed the bridge and turned back at the spot where the trail connects to the paved Centennial Trail. We made it a loop and walked by the river on the return where there were some spurs to the river edge. Nicely shaded trail with great river views.
