It’s a hot one in Spokane today at 95F. I consider it a double success that we managed to take a little hike without getting sunburned or ticks.
The trail is in good shape. Nice to go in and out of the shade. Several osprey circling overhead.

I got to the trail head around 10:00 am. I got a little confused coming in so drive past the camping pay station and take the next right into the “swinging bridge” lot. Make sure to have discover pass! Super pretty hike and very easy. I am glad I had my all trails map out because I didn’t know where to turn for the loop. It took me a little less than an hour to complete.

This is a short hike that has good views and interesting rock formations along the river.
The views would have been better if it wasn’t as smoky.
There are two places for parking and portable toilets near the pedestrian bridge.
I noticed a few planks on the bridge are in need of replacement.
