I hiked the four mile section of the Six Ridge trail from Six Ridge Pass to the Success Lake/Mt Olson junction. This is a rugged, little used trail that traverses some fine subalpine country. Maintenance work was done last year, so the trail is now generally easy to follow and free of blowdown. But the path is still pretty rough and full of ups and downs that will wear you out. Good camping sites are available at McGravey Lakes and Belview. Blueberrys are incredibly abundant; so are the flies and mosquitos.
