Beware of: snow conditions

A nice Friday to take my friend and his parents to the Mountain - much less crowded than the weekends. The view at Sunrise was great. The trail had some snow (30-50%), but was pretty easy to walk on. It was also short. We turned left at the split to Dege Peak. It didn't take long to get to the top, and the view was very rewarding, including south to Mt. Adams. I highly recommend this hike if you have less than 2 hours to spare.
