I took the "beginner friendly" loop from Trailhead Park, connecting Sagebrush to Skyline, making the final climb for best views, and descending via Canyon Trail. I kept a steady pace and finished this route in about 1 hour 15 minutes, which included time to enjoy views at the top.

The trailhead had plenty of parking at 8 AM on a Sunday and was starting to fill up by 9. Relatively little trash considering the heavy use of the trail. Trail was busy but didn't feel packed. Mix of trail runners, ruckers, hikers, families with kids and dog owners.

Trail is in great shape, especially the sagebrush section. There is no shade at any point on the trail. Restrooms and water fountain at the trailhead are both open. Low observed mask wear on trail (~20%). Trail felt hot in the sun, even though Temps were only high 60s. Bring water!

I typically struggle with vertical intensive trails, but this was a true hidden gem.

Great hike, warm, and dry morning. Trail was busy but there was plenty of room to move at whatever pace you want. Great trail for running up and down. Plenty of parking available and great park at the bottom.

I hiked the Badger Mountain Canyon Trail with my wife and two small dogs. The trail was moderately busier around midday on a Sunday. The trail has a very steep incline at the first portion of the hike, with a brief period of steep steps before leveling out to rocks and dust. It was a decently warm day, but a combination of the high exposure and incline had us breaking a sweat. The trail winds around the hills with multiple benches for resting before reaching the peak of the trail. It was a clear day, and we could clearly make out the top of Mount Rainier in the distance to the west. The trail has a much more gradual decline on the way down, and continues for another 2 miles. No bugs or rattlesnakes, but the winds were so strong they would occasionally kick up a large bunch of dust and blow towards you.

Hiked this trail today and it was absolutely beautiful. Incredibly windy and there were tumbleweeds all over the trail. The tumbleweeds were not a huge problem, but when I tried to clear them I got spikes stuck in my hands. There were a lot of people on the trail and may not make for the best hike if you’re looking for solitude.
