Arrived at the trailhead around 12:30pm, parking lot was about 3/4 full. The gravel road to the trailhead had some rough patches, but not nearly as bad as the road up to Lake Colchuck; any car could do it. The line for the toilet was backed up so can't speak to the condition, but the toilets at Rock Creek Campground down the trail were clean and well stocked.
My wife and I hiked clockwise from the trailhead. Quite a few other parties out hiking both ways. Trail in excellent condition almost all the way around. If you stopped moving the mosquitoes did move in - I took a few bites. River was in full flow and the scenery generally gorgeous. This trail does not disappoint!
Arrived back at the trailhead at 2:30pm and the parking lot was less than 1/2 full.

Trail was good - easy to navigate and very peaceful. Roadworks on the access road were ongoing but wait was minimal. No option to pay for Northwest Forest Pass at the trailhead though since they have sealed off the cash deposit box and there wasn't any cell service to get one online.

Lovely hike, negligible elevation gain, many views of Icicle Creek which is in high flow right now. We are in our 70s, experienced hikers (back in the day), and both agreed there was the right mix of shade and sun, river and mountain views, and well-placed spots to pause and take photos. There are a few narrative displays giving information about wildlife, geology, ecosystem of the area, and those just added to the experience. The river, the birds, and the squirrels are the only noisemakers you'll encounter. Trail is clean and maintained beautifully. Mosquitos were hungry, but if you keep moving or get to a breezy area they leave you alone. The paved road was fine, but the gravel/dirt portion had some minor rough spots.

Charming as always. The road is in fare condition…watch out for pot holes on both the paved and the dirt. All blow downs have been bucked and cleared to the side. All bridge and water crossings are in good condition. The trail itself is in good condition. There are small pockets of NON-biting bugs. There are serveral porta potties spaced out on the paved road. Over all this trail remains our favorite EASY nature hike within the Leavenworth area.
