The road up to the trailhead, as stated by a previous post, is pretty rough. But if you stick it out it improves after the first fork in the road. Headed up with a 9, 6, & 4 year old. Made it to about a mile and a half before the trailhead before we couldn't make it past some snow in my Jeep. We walked up about a mile before turning back (because, kids). Didn't quite make it to the trailhead, but it was very enjoyable to stop at all the waterfalls along the road. There are still several snow banks in the road. Which is what I would consider an obstacle, but again. We didnt make it all the way to the trailhead. Overall it was still a very enjoyable hike.

As reported a few weeks ago, the road up to the trailhead is covered in snow, we couldn't even get up to the blue lake trailhead, I don't even think it would be smart to do in a jeep. That being said, you can hike up the road with boots and grab some spectacular views of Baker, but it's still going to be a few weeks before you can drive up to the trailhead.
