My first time on this trail. I hiked it this morning with a baby in a backpack. It was slow-going (the trail felt unrelentingly uphill), but there was plenty of shade and the morning fog had mostly cleared by the time we reached the top. We enjoyed a leisurely lunch at the top, watching a big group of paragliders launch. There was consistent traffic on the trail, but I wouldn’t consider it crowded. There were empty parking spots when I started (~9:30) and got back to the car (~2:30). It felt like a very safe path to hike solo too. It was chilly enough in the shade at the top that I’m glad I brought a packable puffy jacket to throw on. Great day and a great hike!

Got started at 8:45am; parking lot was already mostly full. Returned to the parking lot just after 11am, and the lot was full ... including multiple people parked in the "do not park here" spots.
It had been a while since I'd been up there, so to get from the first clearing to the top, I accidentally took the road. To avoid that, take the trail to the left after you cross the first clearing where paragliders jump. The road is certainly easier, but feels like you cheated the last vertical 100" of the hike!
Trail was wet in a few spots, but not muddy and not difficult to traverse.
Bugs are starting to show up -- and you can hear them -- but they weren't bothersome, yet.
Coming down after 10am, there were a lot of folks heading up, and we were glad to have arrived no later than 8:45am.
"poo bags" for dogs ... all over the place ... just like everyone else has said, please "pack it out."

It was the perfect evening for an after-work hike, and the rest of the Seattle area thought the same! Parking was very full when we arrived shortly before 6pm, with cars parked along the road. Thankfully people were coming and going so we got a spot fairly quickly, but be prepared with a backup plan because there isn't much road parking. Not much else to report, trail is in great shape and a great shorter option for conditioning. After carrying a weighted pack up to the top, I was very happy to chow down on my sushi bowl and soak in the sunshine :)

We dusted the winter cobwebs off of our hiking boots and spent a quick afternoon at Poo Poo Point. Luckily, we were greeted to an open parking spot at the Chirico trailhead when we arrived at 1PM.
As always, a straightforward trail, no obstacles, no snow. Groups of all ages were out today. It was breezy and a bit chilly at the top; we were happy to have light jackets with us.
A decent hike to get us excited for summer!
Planned out hike a week in advance with a couple of friends and fortunately did not have to change anything before we went on the hike. Went on a day when it was really sunny and also a Saturday so there was kind of a lot of foot traffic on the trail with families bringing their kids and pets. The trail sometimes went from a lot of walking space to only one person passing at a time. The hike got steep at some points and i had to take breaks along the way not too frequently but every like 30 min. We were able to get parking since we arrived around 9am for the hike but as we came down in the afternoon, all parking spaces were taken and people had to park on the sides of the road and further away. The view at the top was amazing however!
