GiveBIG is a statewide fundraising event in support of Washington nonprofits. The generosity of the hiking community enables Washington Trails Association to give back to trails, provide essential online hiking resources and reduce barriers to getting outside to explore nature's wonders. This year, we're working to raise $110,000 for trails during GiveBIG.

When you make a gift during GiveBIG, not only will you become a WTA member, but you'll also support:

  • Hosting volunteer trail work parties in all corners of the state to tackle maintenance needs and keep backcountry trails from disappearing.
  • Working with land agencies and partners to build new trail systems that support the growing and enthusiastic hiking community.
  • Maintaining online resources like our Hiking Guide and Trailblazer app so that hikers can find new trails at home and on the go.
  • Reducing barriers to accessing the outdoors for youth and community groups by lending boots, backpacks and more through our two gear libraries.
  • Mobilizing hikers and outdoor enthusiasts to advocate and speak up for the trails and public lands they love.

You can support WTA during GiveBIG on May 6-7, or by making an early gift today. Thank you for your generosity!
