I hiked with my friend, friend's mom, and their small dog. We were able to get our hike in, but the trails were a little misleading and we had to complete our desired hikes on mini trails alongside the "main" trail. As walking along the trail, we were able to see the main lake a few times hidden behind trees, with a few photo spots, but it wasn't as the picture showed, and there wasn't that much clear space as shown in the picture of this trail. As predicted, when we were walking back, the trail started to get very muddy when it started to sprinkle. Luckily the hike back isn't too long, and flat grounds. In order to park at tiger mountain, you have to have a pass. The parking lot was small, but reasonable, we went around a time where it was busier, and it ended up being a full lot with a few open spaces. You can also park alongside the road coming up to the parking lot for tiger mountain. Overall a good walk, I wouldn't recommend for people who want to get a good, hard hike in. Recommend for people who want a flat ground, close and decent view of the lake, and a family friendly surrounding.

Quick lunch time run. The parking lot was getting a little full but there's lots of parking along the road too right by the cable line trailhead.
Short forested trail and a quarter gravel road. There are some other paths that would let you make this longer. Took about 30mins to jog.

My 4-year-old and I had gorgeous weather. This was a nice easy trail with beautiful mossy forest with frost on the ground for nearly the entire trail. There are so many connecting trails - if you want to follow this specific loop you do have to pay attention, but the trail description is good and the trails are super well maintained and well signed.

Once a week we do a flat walk that 15 year old Maddy can handle. This one was perfect for her and great for us as well. The route followed the Swamp, Brink, Big Tree, Around The Lake, and Bus trails. Nice cloudy weather for exploring the beautiful mature forests along the way.
4mi, 300ft
Chose this hike to avoid crowds in labor day weekend, and to invite my sister in law along, a recent double lung transplant survivor. It was perfect, mostly flat, lovely trees, lake. Had lunch in the shade near Round lake which was mostly a pond in August, continued back on bus trail for a nice mid day hike for her and the rest of our party. Lots of cute dogs and the mossy rusted bus skeleton is interesting. Got a bit hot after lunch but most of trail in the shade and wasn't impossible to find parking. Plenty of connecting trails if you want a longer hike!
