THE HIKE

Super excited that we saw a mountain goat! Don’t forget to look up in the cliffs, you might see a goat munching around.
The trail is completely snow covered. We hiked the loop counter-clockwise and used microspikes. The first half of the loop is easy to hike on the snow but after the waterfall the snow is more deep and you deal with some post holding. Trekking poles would be helpful in this section of the trail, especially since the trail descends. Still doable with just microspikes. The entire loop is easy to navigate with signs even in the snow. Many hikers made a distinct boot path in the snow.

WARNINGS

Witnessed large icicles and snow falling down at the waterfall. I would stay clear from the base of the falls.

HAPPY HIKING!
