Awesome day for a hike, besides the heavy winds. Stepped out on the bridge before departing for the trail and the gusts were so intense it felt like you were walking sideways. When we were on the eastside near Cornet Bay, the wind blowing through the trees above made a eery low humming sound.
Saw a young buck as we were heading up to the summit and a bunch of interesting fungi through out the hike.
