Took a trip out to Lake Wenatchee for the first time and woo-hee is this gorgeous! Easy stroll along the northern side of the lake - suitable for kids of all ages, dogs, and adults. Nothing strenuous or difficult - just all gorgeous scenery. I didn't have kids with me but the lake shore is perfect for little ones with its colorful rocks and shallow, clear shore that allows for some playtime in the edges of the water.
Bugs weren't present along the lake edge but walking through the forest to get there, I was accosted by hungry mosquitos. So much so, that if I stopped just for a few minutes, I'm sure they would have made a feast of me.
Saw a total of 4 people out there today, so my pup and I had the lake all to ourselves and we didn't have to worry about social distancing.
