This was our first hike in a few months, and it was definitely an easy one to get us back in the groove. The first part of the trail was through a wooded area taking us down toward the river. There were lots of bugs in the air, so bug spray would be a good idea!
After a couple of switchbacks, we came to the river, and the rest of the trail stayed along the river--majestic, rushing water was a beautiful view to have all along the trail, especially since there isn't a view at the end. The end of the trail is clearly marked by a rockslide and waterfall.
Overall, easy trail with a few muddy areas and bugs, but the view of the river was great!
