The views were not plentiful on Saturday due to the storms, but the cotton candy pink rhododendrons made up for it - they were out in full force, throughout the trail. The majority of this hike has great tree cover, so even in the rain, you don't get soaking wet. The trail was only muddy in a few spots. Beware the horse droppings, too.
Fairly short hike with the perfect amount of elevation for getting back into the swing of things post-quarantine. I can only imagine how fantastic the views must be on a clear day. Can't wait to come back once the weather clears.
