The road is just barely usable by a passenger car due to deep potholes. The snow has melted enough to get to the trailhead though.
The snow on the trail begins at about 5100' and is still deep, so spikes, poles, and routefinding are required. The snow is melting fast so your footprints may not be visible to follow on the way back. We made it to the ridge but didn't continue any farther.
