Boardman Lake — Tuesday, Jun. 23, 2020

This hike was a lot of fun for our family. We have three young boys and did an overnight hike to see how they could handle their backpacks. The hike there is mostly uphill and you pass a smaller lake right off the bat, so don't be fooled into thinking that's your destination. The camping spots where very clean and all had fantastic views of the lake. There were cool salamanders and frogs in and around the lake. The flies were definitely an annoyance so bring nets for your head. Not too many mosquitoes though.
