Are you looking for Deer Creek Camp? We spent at least 1 hr going the wrong direction.
Take the Owyhigh Trail off Hwy 123, go .42 miles to the intersection of Eastside Trail. At the intersection go south (left) 100ft and you'll see the camp trail marker.
There are no other markers except an etched "Deer Creek Camp" on the signage. See Garmin Link below.
Beyond this, on Owyhigh Trail head parallel to Kotsuck Creek and Sydney Falls that are currently raging up to Owyhigh lakes. The wildflowers are lovely at this time with extremely wet conditions probably due to the spray of the waterfall.
Wear rain gear even if it isn't raining.
