The road to the trailhead is slow going with a lot of potholes. About a mile from the trailhead, at a switchback, a particularly dicey patch of rocks encouraged a number of drivers to park there. However a well navigated high clearance vehicle such as a Subaru Forester can successfully make it all the way to the trailhead for the moment.
Trail starts out rocky and dusty but transitions to a nice path once it hits tree cover. Views from the top quite nice.
Passed two groups on the trail at noon on a Wednesday. Mask use at 60%
